A New Day
Like a classic scene from Voltron, a convergence of extremities that were once individual artists have united to form one power house of sound. Headlock Muzak is a brain child of Oldominion veteran Pale Soul but now consists of a squadron of superb musicians, vocalists and song writers. This team of music masterminds consists of acts such as Scotty Del of Raise the Bridges, a Portland OR native, to Oldominion founder LsDub who has been posted in the rainshine of Seattle WA engineering and creating records since 1997.
If you have been to any of Pale Soul’s live performances lately, then you’re already aware of the newly formed duo of Pale Soul & Sick Aura not to mention the additions of Chase “The Snow Monkey” on drums, and PDX veteran D.J. OZ Rock on the Wheels. This new unit truly generates a dynamic sound for the audience to feel and walk away with a notion they’ve taken something genuine along with them and not as if they’ve just witnessed another “rap show”.

In efforts to promote the new sound and get the sophomore opus in motion, the Headlock family has been doing live performances all over the west coast and recently played in the beautiful paradise of Maui, Hawaii at the Sheepdawg Festival sharing the stage with heavy hitters such as: Stevie Culture, Lucas Nelson, Ookla the Moc and Barrikuda with Pale featured one of his young talented artists, 12 yr. oldTaylor Parsons singing 2 of her originals and awing the crowd with her rendition of “No one” by Alicia Keys.
